How My Journey Began...

Since being cognitive of thought, I have had an intense desire to help others and answer the questions “Why are we here?” and “Where do we come from?” This desire has propelled me forward my whole life in a quest for spirituality. From a very young age I’ve had strong intuition and powerful, prophetic dreams.

It was this inherently strong desire to help others that led me to graduate from college with a “Law & Security” diploma and to work for the Vancouver Police Department as a 911 officer. Over a span of ten years, I’ve worked in various corporate positions including being a part-founder of an explosive dot com company and then as a successful agent in the film & television industry.

Inspiration in a Head Massage
October 22nd, 2007

At the beginning of 2005, I was quite happy as an agent and was surrounded by a fantastic group of talented actors. However, I started to receive powerful signs and dream messages conveying that it was time for me to focus solely on spirituality. I had been living with one foot in the boat of reality and one foot in the boat of spirituality and it was time for me to plunge wholeheartedly into esotericism. As a practitioner of purity and an advocate of light, I realized that I needed to devote my time to gaining knowledge and learning healing skills in order to truly help others.

In June of 2005, I traveled to San Marcos, Guatemala, a beautiful village on Lake Atitlan known as a Mecca for healers. While there, I was taught Qigong by a shaman, I learned the art of Indian Head Massage, and completed the ‘Full Moon Course’ at Las Piramides. This one-month course was taught by a lucid dreaming guru and included daily yoga, meditation, esoteric lectures, and concluded with a week of silence and fasting.

The quest continued to Peru, where I spent time with a shaman in the Amazon jungle experiencing ceremonies with a very ancient, celestial medicine. These ceremonies were aimed at healing my body, restoring equilibrium in my life, and enlightening my Spirit.

I then flew to Ireland to be with a Reiki master of ten years, to further developed my abilities as an energy healer.

My quest finally placed me at an ashram in Madurai, India, for a yoga teacher’s training course. I learnt from a great swami the ancient Vedanta philosophy and the Sivananda style of hatha yoga. While there, I was blessed with the spiritual last name of Prema (pronounced “prem–a”) a Sanskrit word meaning Universal Love. After an intense month and a half program, I graduated and returned to Vancouver.

I currently reside in Vancouver, BC, providing Indian Head Massages, teaching yoga at various locations, and working with others as a spiritual guide. I also consult for clients in the Lower Mainland, Seattle, Ontario, Los Angeles & Orange County, CA.

My daily goal is to be the embodiment of my name - Happiness and Love.
