Become a Certified Indian Head Massage Practitioner
An Indian Head Massage starts with the client sitting upright in a comfortable chair for the duration of the one-hour treatment. It begins with a deep kneading and probing of the back, arms, neck and shoulder muscles. The head is next with the scalp being squeezed, rubbed, and gently tapped. The hair is briskly tussled and gently combed while pressure points and meridians are gently worked on. The face is massaged last, working with acupressure points to stimulate circulation and increase alertness.
The physical form of the massage works to release stored negative energy trapped in the body, with a more subtle form of energy balancing which affects a person’s energy centers.
This Ayurvedic element of chakra energy balancing focuses on the four higher chakras and has a powerful effect. Combined with the fresh flow of energy from Reiki, the Indian Head Massage can bring the energy of the whole body back into balance by creating a deep sense of peace, calm and well-being.

Who Can Study Indian Head Massage?
No prior experience in massage or bodywork is required; there are no prerequisites for this course. It is perfect for a holistic practitioner, spa owner/worker, registered massage therapist, Aromatherapist, Reflexology, hair stylist or anyone wanting to get started in holistic healing. All are welcome.
About the Course
Friday afternoon, Saturday & Sunday are full days with practical instruction of techniques and hands-on learning.
There is pre-course materials to be read. These are distributed upon receipt of payment.
The cost of the course is $350 (This includes GST, the course manual & certificate* upon passing the exam). The class size is limited to 6 students.
*To receive your certificate, you must give 20 massages complete with feedback and signatures within 12 weeks of completing the course.
